Download TrueCrypt from this

Create Volume

I created encrypted file
container , virtual encrypted
disk , but if you like you can
encrypt non-system drive as USB
disk or encrypt entire system
drive.
STEP 4
There are 2 option Standard and
Hidden TrueCrypt volume . I
chose standard.
The purpose of hidden volume is
that instead one password you
have two , so that if you’re ever
forced to give up password you
can give them the password that
open fake files , not your real
files.
STEP 5
Click Select File to choose a
filename for the container and to
select the location where you
wish the container to be created.
If you select an existing file,
Truecrypt will not encrypt it , the
file will be deleted and replaced
with the newly created
Truecrypt container.
You’ll be able to encrypt existing
files later on by moving them to
the TrueCrypt container that
you’re about to create now.
STEP 6
Here you can select encryption
and hash algoritam that you
want . I leave it to default
STEP 7
Select size of your virtual
encryption disk.
STEP 8
You have option to use key file
instead password. I used
password
STEP 9
Move your mouse to create
random encryption key and click
on format.
STEP 10
Go to main windows of the
Truecrypt and select TrueCrypt
file that you created in steps
above , click on Mount. Type
your password and virtual
encryption disk will be created.

TURN ON NUMLOCK KEY FOREVER

If your NumLock doesn't turn on automatically on windows startup, you can turn it on forever only by notepad. Open notepad and type

Now press Ctrl+S to open Save as window. From file type box Select All files & in the name field type "num.vbs" including the qutes. then save it to C:/Documents and Settings/All users/Start menu/Programs/Startup. Now your NumLock will stay on forever.

RECOVER BOOKMARKS OF FIREFOX

If you lost / delete your important bookmark accidently, then this is not a matter for tension. You can recover it. Go to C:/documents and settings/your account name/Application data/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles There you will find some folders, open each folder & find the folder named 'bookmarkbackups' . This folder contains your wanted bookmarks of Mozilla Firefox.

EDIT SEND TO MENU EASILY

Send to is a very important option of windows. It is the easiest way to copy any file. You can add or remove any content from the Sent to menu by edit this. To edit this, go to Start > Run
type 'sendto'

DISABLE SEARCH HISTORY ON WINDOWS 7

In windows 7, all search history will save automatically. You can disable it easily. To do this, Type GPEDIT.MSC of the search box of Start menu. Then go to User configuration/Administrativae tamplates/ Windows components/ Windows explorer
Double click on Turn off display of recent search entries; Select Enabled, Then press Ok & Close it. You'll never found the search history ever.

REMOVE SHORTCUT ARROW FROM ICONS

If you use shorcut menu of verious content on desktop, then you'll be well known with the shortcut arrow in the icons. This is very painfull to somebody. If you want, then you can remove the arrow from the icons. To do this, Go to Start > Run
Type 'regedit' & press Enter. Then go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT/Inkfile
Then delete the IsShortcut registry value. Then Restart the windows to apply. You will never see the arrow key of shortcut with the icons untill the next Windows Setup.

DISABLE ERROR REPORTING

Error report is a very common problem of Windows. Usuall we press Dont sent to ingore it. But you can stop the error reporting easily from control panel. To do this, go to Start > Control panel > Performance & Maintenance > System Then click on Advanced tab. You will see Error reporting button at bottom of the window. Select Disable Errors reporting. Then press Ok, Then Ok again. You will never face the error reporting problem again.

USE HiBERNET ON WiNDOWS XP

Hibernet is one of very essential feature of windows. If the hibernet is enabled ur computer will be continued from the last stop. It is very easy to use hibernet on Windows 7. But in Windows XP, you have to activate hibernet manually. To do this, go to Start > Control Panel > Power Options
Then Press on Hibernet tab & tick the 'enable hibernet' option. Then apply it. Then go to the first tab & select hibernet from the box of power button. Then press Ok after applying. Now, ur Hibernet is being activated.

REMOVE SHARED DOCUMENT FROM YOUR COMPUTER

In my computer you would find two documents named My documents & Shared documents. If you think Shared document is unusual, you can remove it easily. To do this go to
Start > Run
& type 'regedit' & press Enter.
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Explorer/My computer/NameSpace/DelegateFolders
Remove the file named 59031a47-3f72-44a7-89c5-5595fe6b30ee


See, shared document is not available on your computer.

DISABLE CD AUTORUN

If you want to disable CD autorun then you can do it easily. To do this, go to Start > Run & type GPEDIT.MSC & press Enter. Go to Computer configuration/Administrative/Tamplates/System
Locate the entry for turn autoplay off and modify it as your wish.

CREATE PASSWORD RESET DISK

If you forget your password then you can reset it by a password reset disk. You should create a password reset disk before. To create e password reset disk
Go to Start > Control Panel > User account
Then open your account.
Under related tasks, click prevent a forgotton password. Follw the directions in the forgotton password wizerd to create a password reset disk.

CONVERT FAT/FAT32 TO NTFS

FAT & NTFS is the two types of Disk format. Sometimes we need to convert FAT to NTFS. To convert this go to Start > Run
'cmd' & press Enter. Type 'CONVERT X: /

FS:NTFS

& press Enter. Use the drive name you want to convert in the place on X. Your drive will get converted without any risk.

REMOVE RECYCLE BiN FROM DESKTOP

If you think Recycle Bin is undeleteable, then you are wrong. You can do it easily. Go to Start > Run
type 'regedit' & press Enter. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/explorer/Desktop/NameSpace Click on 'Recycle bin' string in the right hand panek. Then hit Del. Click Ok. See, Recycle bin is not available on the desktop.

MAKE YOUR DESKTOP ICON TRANSPARENT

If you want to make your desktop icons transparent then follow the steps. Go to Start > Control Panel > System Press on Advanced tab. Click on setting under performance area. Press on Visual effects tab. Use drop shadow for icon labels on the Desktop.

RENAME THE RECYCLE BiN

If you want to rename the recycle bin, then you can do it from the steps below:

Go to Start > Run
& type 'regedit'

Then go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT/CLSID/{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}

Then rename the Recycle bin as your wish. Enjoy renaming the Recycle bin.

DELETE AN UNDELETEABLE FILES

'Uunable to delete this file'- it is now a common problem in most of our computer. It occured because of Locked files. You can delete those files by unlocking them. To unlock them, you just need a simple software named Unlocker. Download & install it on your computer. Then press write button on mouse on the victim file & select Unlock. Then you will able to remove the corrupted/locked files.

HIDE DISK DRIVE

If you have a personal drive, where you want to place your personal files. You can lock your personal drives without any software, just by cmd( Command Prompt). It is very easy to do & more secure then drive hider/locker.
Go to Start > Run.
Then type 'cmd' to open command prompt.
Then type 'Diskpart' & press Enter.
Then type 'List volume' to open the list of your drives.
If you want to hide the drive 'F'
type 'Remove letter F' & press Enter.
Ok, your drive has been hidden.

To unhide it again follow all the steps same and in the last line type 'Assign letter F'
 & press Enter. OK, you drive has been unhided.

RECOVER YOUR DELETED FILES

Delete your necessary files accidently? No problem. You can recover it simply by a software named recuva. Download & install it on your computer. Then run Recuva. Select drive where the files was. Then press Scan. If nothing found it will ask for Deep scan. Press yes. There you'll find a lot of files. Select your wanted files & Click recover. Enjoy recovering your deleted files.

ADD NAME ON TASKBAR

In the mean time press '0160' by the Numpad (not the keys below function key). Then press OK. Nameless file/folder has been created. But there have a problem in delating them. You can only delete them in safe mode.
